…is supposed to be the end of the World, according to the ancient Maya (although actually, they never said any such thing) but provided they are wrong (after all, they never predicted their OWN end) the day SHOULD go down in history as the day PSY’s “Gangnam Style” – a K-Pop record that is Korea’s answer to the venerable Cockney anthem, “Doing The Lambeth Walk” – received its BILLIONTH HIT on YouTube.
Okay, it was only the short American billion (see elsewhere in these columns) – but that is still the equivalent of one-seventh of the planet’s population. So surely the phenomenon is ALMOST comparable to the End Of Times.

Play it LOUD, in FULLSCREEN – and if your Interweb connection is fast enough – in 1080 HiDef.
(Incidentally, you had better be quick – given the twenty-first does not actually end for another six hours, at the time of typing – factoring in the Mayan time-zone and assuming midnight to be the “all-clear” moment).
